Purple Is the New Pink-- Babies 48, 49, and 50!

As always, the babies age up right away.  It's hard not being able to enjoy their infacy, but it's something that needs to be done.

Who knew where on earth Olivia's genetics come from.  Her orange skin and blonde hair are a mystery.  At least her facial features are more explainable, those come from her daddy.

Lilly has her father's hair color, but the rest is what looks to be Leiah's features.  We'll see what she looks like when she gets older.

Jordan is super cute, and looks way different than any of her siblings.  This is because she has a lot of her dad in her face.

She also has a really awesome sense of style.  Yes, tights, rain boots, and a dress all work just fine!

Jordan is girly, but Josie is even MORE girly!  She always has to brush her hair at least 100 times before bed and when she wakes up.  It must be working, because she has super soft hair.

She decided to match her style to her sister's; but while Jordan loves black and red, Josie prefers pink and purple.

The first thing Olivia did after growing up?  Eat.  All of Leiah's kids were little pigs.

The next thing baby Olivia did was play with the toy xylophone.  She's a musical genius!  Just like her momma.  ;)

Well, the washing machine isn't broken, but it's definitely rattling and getting water everywhere.

"Uggghhhhh!"

Leiah tried to subdue the washing machine, but it didn't work very well.

But you can't be too mad when you come in to see this face!  TOO CUTE!

"Ick, trash is so gross."
Leiah murmured.  Well, it's your fault that it's gross Leiah!

Looking in the mirror, Leiah thought about the fact that she could be giving herself a makeover very soon.  If she had triplets, it would put her to being halfway in her challenge, and Leiah had promised that she would get a full makeover.

Silly girl!  This kind of thing always lifts your day, no matter how bad it is.

Most people think that the news is boring and depressing, but it actually really interested Leiah.

"Even with the economy being so low, Sunset Valley remains bright and sunny.  Perhaps this little town is on to something?"

Now that a lot of the chores were done, and the newspaper was read, there was nothing for Leiah to do except to watch a game show and try to guess the answers.

You've heard it said before, but it is true.  There is no rest for a mother.  Especially a challenge mother.

Make dinner...  Even if the washing machine made you wet...

Eat dinner...

Wash the dishes...

Scrub the counters..

Go to sleep...

Olivia and Lilly are possibly the easiest kids to put to bed that Leiah has ever had.

The ache to make her own music got to Leiah.  Lets just say that there was a keyboard and a guitar in the yard the next day.

Leiah sighed with happiness as her fingers claimed the familiar feeling of playing the piano.

As the sun went down into the sky, the melodies of a sweet guitar's sad song floated through the air.  In other words, Leiah played the guitar as well.

Hey, no one ever said they were easy when they woke up.  They were just easy to put to sleep.

Yes, of course the shower would break again.  Why wouldn't it?

It's really sad when you get featured in a magazine for having your appliances break down...all.the.time.  BUT, in Mother's Monthly, Leiah did indeed get featured for that very thing.

D'awww.  Guess the girls are potty trained now!

After potty training, Leiah cleaned herself up and high-tailed it to her next baby daddy's house.  His name is Emori Mafoo.

He definitely has unique genetics, and that's not some gentle way of saying "weird".  With his pale skin, dark purple hair, and dark brown eyes, he would definitely make some cute babies!

"So..Emori, do you know the rules of this challenge?"
Leiah had to break the ice somehow, and it seemed the easiest to discuss what she was here for.

"Yeah, I first heard about the challenge by overhearing somebody's conversation, so I searched it.  That's where I heard about you."

He was quiet all of a sudden, and Leiah knew why.  The two had an attraction to each other, that much was evident.  It wasn't one that would last for any amount of time, but it was still nice.

After what seemed like eons, Emori finally kissed her.

Not long after, baby 48 was conceived.  Well, hopefully.  Leiah didn't exactly hear the lullaby, so she thought she'd stay around to make sure.

Joshua and Jacob both knew that Leiah wanted triplets, but could only have a single birth if they didn't move out.  So they aged up while she was gone, despite Leiah assuring them both that she would be fine with one baby.

Joshua is a cutie!  His father's "dork genes" totally work for him.

Jacob turned into quite the bad boy, and it was very entertaining.  Needless to say, their father is very proud of them.

Anyways.  When Leiah started throwing up, she was confident that she had indeed conceived, and so she went home.

She made it just in time to vomit again.  Yeah, definitely pregnant.

After cleaning herself up, Leiah looked guiltily around the house.  Even though Olivia and Lilly were happily babbling in their cribs, they were just that.  In their cribs.  Where they were the night before, meaning that the babysitter left them there.  Leiah let the girls out of their cribs to play, then did the pile of laundry that was overflowing in the hamper.

Leiah spent some time talking to Joshua.  He had some interesting...erm..."theories" on the "world's conspiracy".  Yeah.

Leiah loved her son, but there's only so much one can take of talk about the sim government secretly hiding a UFO in the white house.  So Leiah excused herself to her piano.

Yep, she was definitely pregnant.  There's nothing better than feeling your babies hurt you for the first time.  Seriously!

But, it's worth it.  Even puking out your eyes is worth it.

With a growing belly and an inspiration, Leiah played the night away.

That is, until Joshua and Jacob insisted on growing up and moving out.  They grew up WAY too fast!  Anyways, Joshua is still a dork, but it's all good.  He got a job working with his father at the science facility recently.

Jacob wants to be a lawyer, and is starting out as an intern.  Go Jacob!

Jacob dialed a real-estate agent and was all set to move.  Little Olivia just looked on, not knowing that her favorite sibling was about to leave her.  After saying their goodbyes, the boys left.

Then Leiah did the one activity that both her unborn babies and her already born babies love- Watching kids TV!

Speaking of unborn babies, it looks like the little one/ones are getting along wonderfully!

Leiah went to see Dr. Jolina, who was on her way to work but spared a moment for Leiah.  Turns out, it's a boy!  Or at least there's one boy in there.

Leiah headed to the supermarket to eat some watermelon, she was hoping for two girls and one boy.  Here's hoping!  While there, the baby/babies started kicking really really hard.

"Ouch babies, you're hurting mommy!"

She was about to find out real soon what she was having, those kicks were not kicks at all, they were contractions.

At the hospital, even Gunther Goth was freaking out!  Typical male...

I now present to you all, baby 48:  Mia Mistoffelees.

Baby 49:  Nori Mistoffelees.

Baby 50:  Desta Mistoffelees

Ya'll know what this means?  This means, that Leiah is halfway through her challenge!  Guess what?  It has also been exactly one year since Leiah started this challenge!  It's been a long haul, with plenty of ups and downs, but it's all been worth it.  Will Leiah get through 50 more babies?  STAY TUNED!

  5. I'm not a huge fan of baby challenges, but I'm going to follow because you actually make your photos big enough to see, and they're well-taken, without a single grid showing. Nico likes it.
