The good, the bad, and the really ugly-- Baby 28

Then all the siblings got together to cheer on Baya and Azul.

Here's sweet little Baya. She did end up getting her daddy's purple skin, but it was a little lighter. She also had brown eyes, which, Leiah couldn't figure out until Silver informed her that Silver and Natalia's mother had had brown eyes.

Azul was his father's little man, all the way. Other than his grandma's brown eyes which he also got. Look at those chubby cheeks!

As Alex grew up, he had the infamous cross-eyes.

When he grew up, he still was cross-eyed.

Leiah had him try to focus on the cake then and after a while of working, he was able to, his eyes were back to normal!

Carter grew up rather awkwardly

But after he did his hair, he was just fine... He did have a rather odd sense of fashion though.

Summer was so excited about growing up! She really did not want to leave, but she was beyond ready to be done with highschool.

"Smile for the camera!"
Leiah told her daughter as she snapped pictures.

Twin sister Autumn cheered on as Summer was "attacked" by sparkles.

Then Autumn gave a grin for the camera, she got over her camera shyness finally!

She even gave her mother a pose after she grew up!

Summer has always been a beautiful girl, but she seemed to have somehow gotten prettier! She kept her hair down in soft curls, and had only a little bit of makeup on. Just some lip gloss! Everything else is natural! Right down to her glowing cheeks.

Summer had a great style, which was good, because she wanted to be an interior decorator.

Autumn was every bit as gorgeous as her sister, she just never thought so, Autumn had always envied Summer's curls, while Autumn had super straight hair. Little did she know, Summer envied Autumn a little bit too.

Anyways, Autumn decided to just brush her hair back into a long ponytail and keep her hair out of her face.

She also chose a very light and airy outfit. She looked like a mom!

Summer and Autumn were definitely not in a rush to leave, and since Leiah still had a little bit of room in the house, she said that they could stay until the next baby came.

Carter was helping out and made some baby food for Baya.

"Hmmm..."
Little Baya mumbled, trying the food her brother made for her.

"MMMM!"
Baya said as she started shoveling the food in her mouth. Big brother must be a good cook!

"It's okay baby"
Leiah said, cuddling Baya who had been trying to walk and fell.

Leiah went shopping and found a couple cute things. Like this snowglobe, Leiah put it in the party room and decided to leave it there until the end of the winter.

Then she found Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore, and Tigger!

Leiah started thinking about Joseph's mother, Sarah. At first, she thought happy thoughts, of having good times with her friend before she died.

But then she thought about the sad thoughts. First, of Sarah's death, and then her mother's own death. But she had to shake it off, it was time to find another daddy!

She had been corresponding with a man online, who sent her a picture of himself. If this really was his real picture, he was super handsome and would be a great daddy! Leiah was ready, so they set up a time to meet.

Leiah went on over to his house, and was a little wary. He had a car up on a platform, a big green flag by his house, and the supports on the front of his house looked like green and white striped candy canes... What had she gotten herself into?

Luckily, when she walked in, she found out that she hadn't needed to worry. The inside of the house was normal, and the man looked exactly like the picture he had sent her.

"So you're Gary Castro?"

"That is me..."
Gary replied.

"You are more beautiful than I thought you'd be."
He continued, making her feel all buttered up inside.

Leiah blushed and started turning into an idiot.

"Thanks! I....I...I...I..."
She just started stuttering, this was weird! Since when was she ever this way? Why was he making her feel like this?

He was just watching her intently as she made a complete fool of herself.

Then all of a sudden, he kissed her.

She smiled at him, a little surprised.

He pulled away from her.

"I'm so sorry!"
Now it was his turn to stutter.

Leiah smiled and took a step closer to him.

"Don't be sorry."
She said softly.

Now wither her permission, Gary kissed her again.

Then things heated up...

I mean, they heated WAY up.

Sure enough, a little while later, the lullaby floated through his house.

When Leiah got home, Autumn was soaking in the hottub.

She looked so peaceful and the hottub looked so inviting, that Leiah had to get in.

Ahhh, much better.

Leiah was actually a little bit curious as to why her daughter was randomly in the hottub. So she asked.

"How come you decided to try out the hottub?"

Autumn lifted her leg up and scrunched up her face.

"I slipped on the stairs and twisted my ankle. I thought that this would be a good way to make it feel better."

Leiah relaxed back some more. She wasn't a bad mom for not being concerned, because:

A. Her daughter had it all taken care of
B. Autumn was an adult now, she needed to learn how to take care of herself
3. Even if she tried to help, Autumn would've yelled at Leiah for making her feel like a baby.

It was a beautiful, clear, starry night. The pool looked like grass, all the trees seemed to be dancing, and Leiah was relaxing in the hottub with her daughter. Life couldn't be better.

When Leiah got out, she started to think about her mother and Sarah again. Her mother's name was Isabelle, but of course Leiah never called her mother by her real name, Leiah never understood kids who did that.

All of a sudden, she got an idea. If she went in the middle of the night, she could probably go to Joseph's house and see Sarah's grave.

Leiah really wanted to go that night, but she was far to nauseous to do that.

If she was going to be gone all night, she better get her rest!

The next night, Leiah made sure that all her kids were taken care of and asleep before she left.

Sarah's grave was all there, exactly the same.

She mourned a little bit for her friend. As far as she could tell, Joseph wasn't home.


Little did she know, Joseph was VERY home, and watching her every move.

Finally, he came outside, and just stared at her for quite a while.

Then, he pulled her inside and kissed her. Leiah was so in love, she forgot who she was with or what she was doing, and let him kiss her. She had forgotten how perfectly they fit each other.

Before she knew what she was doing... Well, lets just say it's a good thing Leiah is already pregnant.

Joseph fell asleep, and Leiah ran home. What had she been THINKING. She hadn't been thinking, that's what.

Luckily, her baby bump decided not to become noticeable until later that morning. Joseph hadn't seemed to have picked up on the fact that she was pregnant... Or at least, if he did, he certainly didn't say anything.

Leiah was totally scatterbrained, but she tried to pull it together and hide it from her kids. Although, she was pretty sure Summer noticed that something was wrong. Fortunately, she was smart enough not to ask questions.

Leiah had very conflicted dreams that night, and while she slept, it was a light sleep. Her heart was beating quickly, she was so anxious. She knew it couldn't be good for the baby.

Alright, there's the baby bump.

Carter was great at helping around the house, but Leiah always watched him to make sure he was doing everything correctly. He would just glare at her like: "Mom, I got this."

With the new baby coming soon, to save herself some hassle, Leiah potty trained Baya and Azul. Baya first, she's such a smart girl and caught on to it right away!

Then she potty trained Azul, who was a little more difficult just because he was a boy, but he was also very smart.

As good as the twins were, heavily pregnant as she was, they exhausted her. So she went and took a nap.

Leiah woke up, and was just about to give Baya and Azul their supper, when she felt sharp pains.

Autumn, Summer, and Carter were home though and on top of things.
